Wheel Wax is a polymer wheel coating that blocks out brake dust and keeps wheels looking clean and shiny. aluminum wheels, clear coated wheels, wheel

been around for some time. use this on my gmc factory chrome wheels. i find no fault in the product. banana scent. applies with a mf applicator or foam. some have had problems with removal. it does cure quick. but i never had issues with removal. i use a mf. just buff/wipe to a great shine. protection i have found to be great. several "wheel sealants" on the market now. sometimes this one is overlooked. two i would like to try when this is gone are...
1. PB wheel sealant
2. DP wheel glaze

I haven't tried the PB but the DP was rather hard to work with and the results were not all that great.

Have you tried UTTG on them yet?

not yet. always hear and read good things on UTTG. i have also read that 845 does justice to wheels. and the new wolfgang sealant can also be used.

I found Poorboys and DP much longer protection over WheelWax. They are relatively easy to use. A thin even coat and buffing. The DP has a minor cleaner in it, and needs a bit more buffing initially. You can also consider Optiseal.

I've tested both Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant and DP Wheel Glaze. Both went on easy and I applied them with a Microfiber glove. This worked very well allowing me to get into those tight spots ensuring complete coverage.

Once dry the Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant buffed off cleanly and easily leaving a very nice shine.

While the DP Wheel Glaze did go on easier it did not buff off anywhere as easy as the Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant. I also felt that the DP Wheel Glaze didn't protect anywhere near as long asPoorboy's World Wheel Sealant.

Collinite 845
also does a great job of protecting clear coated wheels from brake dust buildup making them easy to clean with a car wash soap and water..

I have used wheel wax for a long time . although it did clean up my wheels good from a winter beating and what protection if offered I found it hard to remove . maybe I used too much . I did use it with mothers cone polisher. I have since tried dp wheel glaze and I like that much better . lot easier to get off. but once I run out of product I'm just gonna stick with 845 .
