Had a customers S4 in this week for a CQuartz application, very clean car! But doing the work out of my garage means that my A7 spends the night outside of the garage sometimes....and this time a storm came ripping through. Didn't have enough time to organize the garage and move the customers car over a bay to bring mine in before the hail started. It could have been much worse and I've been wanting to get a new windshield for some time due to the micro chips. So with new back glass and windshield the deductible isn't a big deal the repairs bill will be over $2k due to OEM glass being required because of my front facing cameras. Also the dealership has to recalibrate the cameras and that is 5 hours of shop labor, it sucks but thats what we have insurance for right?

wow, holy hell. Sucks for your car, thankfully none of them got you in your head or something crazy as you were rushing around.

Damn! Did your body panels get banged up as well?

I got about 30 dime size hail dents in mid May. Insurance company was easy to deal with.

You did the right thing. Hope your customer really liked the detail on his Audi.

Lucky that the hail stones hit the windows and not the body. Those are some good golf ball plus size stones
