When i get my truck out of storage i usually go thru it with a full detail

I have products that i use, but i want to make sure i do them in the right order

start out:
1 wash (foam gun with cg glossworks soap)
2. dry
3. cg blacklight
4. cg petes 53
5. collinite 845

my question is collinite 845. I never used it before so should that go on in step 3, or last to hold everything else in?

If it were me I would just pick one, either the Pete's 53 or the Collinite and do a GREAT job of applying one wax and then take care of the car.

If I were to top one with the other then you have the right order.

I'm not sure if it is true of 845 but, Collinite #915 struggles to last on top of CG Blacklight.

i heard something like that, thats why i was curious if i should put collinite 845 on first...then the rest...

Ill give it a try in the order i thought....if it doenst work...then i will redo it

The basic rule of thumb is to apply the longest lasting product first and the shortest lasting product last so that that wears off and you can re-apply.

845 is more durable than Pete's but Pete's is noticeably shinier, I would choose one or the other not both. Also if u were to layer the more durable protection goes first then top with the looker.

If you were to layer, I'd just use the same product. Do a double coat, just to eliminate any low spots or spots you could've missed.
