When is it going to be our turn?!

id like to see a cordless air gun!!!! how about cordless shop vac? i hate tangled cords. Those would be awesome!!!
They've been out for quite a while. Can't speak to the power or capabilities of them but there are numerous companies who have thrown their proverbial hats into that ring including DeWalt, Ryobi, Milwaukee, Ridgid and even Shop-Vac and many more.

What if we combined the brushless technology into the equation.

The problem is batteries are so expensive. When the batteries in my cordless drill stop holding a charge it is cheaper to buy a new drill than a new battery for my old drill. A professional detailer may use 8-10+ batteries a day, there is no way they could charge them all every night. While I do like the idea, and do like my cordless drill I go for my cheap corded one when I have a real project to do.

My company has used a cordless RYOBI brand "polisher" for a few years now. It is only useful for throwing on wax quickly. Batteries need to be swapped out every 2 or 3 cars still. As power dwindles the wax goes on thicker sometimes making it more of a hassle than anything. Really only suitable for more of the "production detailing" side of the business. No where near the capabilities or usefulness of a corded DA. We use Megs DA for everything else.
