One of the things i'm also in charge at my dealership is putting cars out to pasture.Actaully these cars are left over from the Cash for Clunkers program. This one came to me on Friday and had to share these pictures.I've seen some wild Rube Goldberg things over the years but this one takes the cake. And We actaully took it for a ride around the dealership and got some great looks. The said part is they got $3500.00 for it.On to the pictures don't laugh to hard and remember someone did drive this.

not the first one I have seen...someone used there personal vehicle as a mail truck. Had one done like that to a Safari van traded in at a dealership I use to work for.

Haha that is pro!

I guess it's a RHD from a LHD for little money! HEY! It does the trick but I still cracked up laughing and am going to share this thread with some friends!

If ya live long enough, I guess you do get to see it all!!! :wow: 4 wheel drive & dual steering.

That is actually a pretty common conversion for rural mail carriers. It wasn't easy to get a RHD vehicle in the US until recently. I think Saturn makes some for mail carriers.

It was probably traded in as a C4C because it probably has a gazillion miles on it.

Wow, did they transfer the pedals as well?
The drivers side still had a brake pedal and gas pedals and they ran metal rods from the drivers side to the Passenger side and made another set of pedals also. One of the scarey parts is you have to stick your hand in between the belt to put in gear or start the car or even turn the Ac on i wouldn't too change anything while driving.
