Where are the new products?

This thread is the evidence of a world of instant gratification.

It amazes me to think that folks can't wait a few days for a product to be detailed out for them to gawk about. Is it really affecting your life that much to not know TODAY what is being unveiled at SEMA? If so, you have other issues you need to sort out.

Imagine the horror of Pre-1994'ish. No internet widely available with instant updates to fill everyone in the world in on the latest info. What was a person to do? Wait for the magazines to publish it? GASP!

Wait.

P.S. - I am not bashing Jim (the OP, who certainly remembers the days I am talking about better than myself) nor anyone else who is anxious. Just a friendly reminder that we get too caught up sometimes.

well thats how things are today and they are not going to change. This isnt 1994 and we are not living in 1994 technology. So just cause it was that way almost 20 years ago doesnt make it how it should be today.

Brutal. SEMA is an industry show, the public isn't even allowed in, why should anything that goes on there be public knowledge? Instead of complaining about what info you aren't getting, you should be glad you're getting any at all. I'm done with this thread.

Glad you got the point. :dblthumb2:

Thanks a lot!!!........Al Gore

I understand they can't post stuff right away, but in that case, they shouldn't have built it up as much. Everyone said "ait for SEMA to find out". Well SEMA is here and we know nothing. They should have said "wait til after SEMA". Just my .02

one thing fellas, there is a hell of a lot more to SEMA than just our detailing products.

Just a partial list of product names, but no details. For example there is a Deep Gloss Spray, but no word on how it compares to the current Deep Gloss Spray Sealant.

I talked to Todd about this. It has been reformulated. I don't know the particulars but it is supposed to be much better. The other products are set for release in January. :props:

Oh, in that case, I agree. I didn't realize SEMA was over already. :poke:

LOL funny guy! In all reality I don't really care since I don't have any money to buy new products anyway.

This puts things in the right perspective Corey!

just give it some time, as another poster said alot of people are at sema right now even if they have access some companys want to not say what the products are and hype them up to get more people interested, then when they are released more people will buy to see what its all about. its simple marketing. heck even the new meguiars products are working out dilution ratios and still testing for release to public(rinse free wash)

We're beating a dead horse here. All I can say is that if Meg's did a better job with their SEMA new product intros, it's because Meguiar's has 25 or 50 times the number of employees as PBMG, besides being owned by 3M.

True, but even at that, Meguiar's didn't do as well this year as they've done in years past... probably because nothing they've introduced is groundbreaking. Either way, I'm sure we'll know more next week once everyone is settled back in.
