Where are some good ideas to post flyers? There's only a couple places I know in my area that has any kind of public bulletin board to post things. I need some help in this area

I just finished printing some really nice flyers for my bus. on high quality HP glossy flyer paper. I wish I could upload it on here but it seems the forum doesn't except word documents.

I'd ask company's if you could put a few flyers up, hand some out, or leave them somewhere to be picked up/seen.

You can even offer 10% off your services for the first time too, since there should be a volume number of people there.

Get a like 2x2 or 3x3 sign made, and have it say like "Hart's Auto Detailing here today!" or something like that.

Honestly, WOM (word of mouth) is the best tool in this industry.

thought you meant women. naked ones by your car...
i will stop there....

I definetly am relying on WOM, but I got to get it all kick started. I have a few people lined up. I still have exactly one month before I'm going to start and everything.

Ask if you can use them as references; take pictures and create a "scrap book"; and create a "referral" bonus for all your customers.

This should help. FYI, don't expect to be real busy your first few months. It takes time to build up clients. Don't give up, hang in there.

ask places, go to to places where people will have nice cars, relastate, doctors....

I'm only planning on doing 2-3 cars a week whether they are just washings or full details.

I work at my golf club full time and would never give that up.... yet.

I would pass em out at the golf club, or atleast let some of the customers that you are closer with at the golf course know that you are starting this up and you would like to give them a free detail for nothing more than a few referrals.

Definetly at a local Country Club, and mention the name of the Club in that flyer, i.e. introductory offer to members of -----------Club. I'd just go through the club parking lot putting them on windshields.

Well, these arent flyers that are really ones to be passed out.

I'll definately tell people about it at the club. It's a public club as well, so new faces everyday. Although, we do have about 100 members that I know well, so that will help. BTW, I've worked their for 6 years now.

It's nice that I have a website I think. Will be easier to just let people know to check out my site instead of sending out flyers, and trying to communicate everything to them.
