Im really looking to simplify my detailing supplies instead of job specific products.

I bought BF interior cleaner cause it works fantastic and works on EVERYTHING on the interior of the car.

Kinda looking for an APC to do the same. Id like it paint, rubber, plastic, vinyl safe. Would like it to clean engine bay, brake dust, tires and wheels too if possible.

I already have megs d101 (leaves unwanted sheen on leather) but dont use it on paint so I was leaning towards OPC (optimum power clean) as it can also be used on paint and tougher stains on the interior if need be.

Any other suggestions? I dont mind spending the money (within reason) if it will speed up my process.

thanks!

I like the performance of Optimum Power Clean. Its a little pricey and the smell kills me!

Im probably going to try the new DP APC next.

Meguiar's APC from the Detailer line is my fav. But I havent tried any of the above mentioned.

What would you say it smells like ?

Becareful using OPC on paint. I've personally seen it cause damage to paint and fading of plastics. I still use it but not on paint

Chemical Guys SPI993 Nonsense Colorless and Odorless All Surface Cleaner
Amazon.com: Chemical Guys SPI993 Nonsense Colorless and Odorless All Surface Cleaner - 1 gal.: Automotive

I have used this for awhile now but am getting ready to switch to Megs because of the people that swear by it and also the price point. I also use Chemical Guys CLD104 Grime Reaper Extremely Strong Degreaser http://amzn.to/1NH5ZAN I use it for engine bays and carpets but will be switching to Megs super degreaser due to price point.

Just an FYI - the forum does not permit linking to non AutoGeek sites.

For the exterior you really can't beat Meguiras X Wax. I use it almost everyday for one reason or another. Works great on Windows, Trim, headlights, paint, interiors, and chrome. Can't beat the price either.

One product that always goes over looked is Sonax MultiStar

And works great on engines

What would you say it smells like ?

I would say the strength of the smell is worse than the actual smell. It almost makes my eyes water & my nose hairs erect, its kind of hard to describe but I would say it smells like cayenne & black pepper mixed.

Maybe someone else here can pinpoint the smell better but that's what I could come up with.

I like OPC over D101. I know D101 is very economical but I find OPC to work better than it and Blackfire OPC. I mainly use it on tires and wheels and at times diluted heavily for the interior.

I've probably got some to spread out if you're interested in trying some before deciding.
