Which car wash bucket do you use

:iagree: That setup is really nice looking! :props:

got in on a splurge. but its one nice bucket! casters, grit guards built in. along with a measuring cup built in the bottom for your car wash soap. includes a lid also.

I use Lowe's 5 gallon ones. Unfortunately the grit guard stops about halfway in it, so I have to use a lot of product and water :(

Maybe just bring your grit guard in before you buy??

I bought 2 Lowe's Silver buckets and the black grit guard goes to the bottom of the bucket.

Home Depot buckets with Gamma lids. For bringing the buckets to the coin op with me (I live in a condo). Grit Guards fit perfect, and the Gamma's do not leak. they are nice and heavy when filled though. Much cheaper to get them locally then to order a two bucket wash kit IME

Home Depot Homer 5 Gallon Buckets. They work well with grit guards, and they can be had for $5 or less.

Does it work if your drive way has a slope?

It is so hard to get the pickle smell out. I dried them out in the sun with dawn and a little water smeared all over the insides for a week and it smells better, but you can still smell the pickles. I use mine for yard tool storage.
Your are right and I forgot:

I bit of bleach water with the sunlight solves that problem.

I get mine from the local dount shop for a buck. The applies for fritters come in, no smell butI do wash really well with a bit oc bleach and a scrub brush prior to use.

2 bucket method, LSU Tigers & N.O. Saints! Can't find the deluxe dolly kit I saw Mike using in 1 of his videos! Link?

For those that use HD buckets or similar. What do you do when the cheap plastic piece on the handle breaks off? Do you add something to the handle like foam?

Get the gamma seal lids. They come in handy if you want to close the box. They work a lot better than the snap on lids like found on the HD buckets.

I picked up 3 - 3gal. buckets at Sears with water levels already marked on them and foam grips...for $3 each. I also picked up 3 - 5gal. buckets there for the same price with no markings on them. It's there fall sale/clearance.

The 5gal. buckets with markings were the price, but were sold out already. Can never have enough buckets.
