Which electric pressure washer? There should be a sticky

If the Ryobi hose is the same as the GreenWorks one, then it's the same as the AR390SS hose and not much more user-friendly than the hard plastic hoses. More flexible but with memory problems. It always loops on itself and snags under tires etc.

Dont you hate that!!!

I'd get a Flexzilla, but... damned proprietary connectors. The GreenWorks' hose appears to use standard M22s at each end, same as the Flexzilla.

I have a Flexzilla but how your car looks there after hitting it with the foam cannon/PW is a site to behold. I do not rinse off dirt first , I use the canon and the detergent just clings on for a while till the dirt just drops off. I can honest say that you don't need to wash again after rinsing it...but I do :)

Is Flexzilla hose rated to handle water under this type of pressure for very long? The normal hard stiff hoses are like that for a reason you know.

Thats why its called a flexzilla pressure washer hose....not garden hose.

I stand corrected as I see they have one rated up to 3100 psi. Now if they only made one for my 4000 psi 3.5 gpm one I'd be all set. :) I hate fighting the common hose that comes with them. My PW does allow me to adjust the pressure so the Flexzilla would actually work. I have Flexzilla air hose and I really like it!

i just purchased the RYOBI unit at Ho,e Desperate. Our sames didnt have the powermax version in stock

Got this from Home Depot I have a gas unit but I wanted something electric and not to expense. At $109 I hope it will fill the bill, it is rated at 1600 psi and 1.2 gpm I'm sure those numbers are inflated. It's small and easy to move as far as power it's ok only problem is having a real pressure washer, it is fairly quiet which is one of the reasons I wanted it. I was more surprised in how well the foam cannon worked, gas unit is still the way to go for that but then again I'm not comparing apples to apples. What I do have to use to is the fact it sounds like it's seizing when it kicks in, again it's electric. One draw back is the hose length and a pretty cheap gun, but it really is a cheaper unit but if it holds up for a few years I think it will work for the money and hopefully the neighbors will like the quiet operations early in the mornings.

I just got the same one and for some reason my MTM foam cannon WILL NOT fit into the quick connect fitting. I tried it on two separate Ryobi wands and both of them would not accept the standard quick connect fitting on the foam cannon.

That's odd. I'm not sure why your cannon won't connect. I know that my cannon works with the Greenworks 1600psi. I did try the little Ryobi, but found it to be screechy loud. I ended up with the Greenworks 1600 for $99. I actually used an online coupon code for 10% off and got it while it was on sale. It is a great machine, has a small footprint, and isn't screechy loud. Perhaps you want to check it out.

Also, why not get a new spray trigger so you don't have to use the cheap gun that comes with the pressure washer? See this post for what I did. Below the pictures, you'll find the 3 referenced links of the parts I used to make the spray gun.

Hey Nicholas

I had the same problem as you, the quick connect on my MTM cannon wouldn't fit my pressure washer.

Go to Home Depot at the pressure washer aisle and grab the 1/4 quick disconnect, if they don't have just the male end you'll have to get the combo with the male and female for $9.98.

Here's a picture of the original MTM 1/4 connect vs the one I got at Home Depot, there is a slight difference and it worked perfect...Good Luck

Thanks! I'm try out a new fitting. It's odd though because the foam cannon snaps onto every single other pressure washer I've tried it with. I have another wand that I'll start using one this one wears out.

Highly considering the AR390SS...what do you guys think? Seems like reviews are so iffy on the electrics maybe I should just buy a Craftsmen gas PW from Sears?
