Which Foam cannon and soap ?

Hers my opinion on foaming. I think foaming is for 4 things.
1. (The biggest benefit) providing lubrication for your car wash mitt preventing swirls or love marks.
2. Make your car detailing look more professional.
3. Unsettle heavy dirt and or mud. I have noticed when using the foam gun after going mudding or on cars with severe mud that it helps to remove the clumps of mud.
4. Stripping the paint of old wax or sealant.
So for the amateur or for people who don't like to use the 2 bucket method I think it's great.

Whats the benefit of combining the two different products ?

I just do it to make both products last longer.

As has been said, some are thicker, some slicker, some (may or may not) strip LSP, and some rinse off easier.

I think I like Mr. Pink better than Honeydew as far as CG goes.
Duragloss is hard to beat though.
Then as I mentioned earlier, Hyperwash provides really thick/sticky foam.
So when mixing, it's about getting one that is uber sticky, and another that's slick.

Stegs what psi pressure washer do you have? I just ordered a MTM from them as well. I just got the Autogeek one the other day but it has a Max psi of 2600psi and my pressure washer is 3000psi. I don't feel comfortable going over. It looks like a pretty nice one though

My pressure washer is a "black maxx" from sams club LOL

It was on sale and it had better reviews than most electric ones

max psi on it is 2700 i think, maybe 2800.

i did alot of research in a economical power washer that i could still use to do my deck and garage, but be easy enough to move around when i do my cars


I found a entry level gas (black maxx from sams club" to fit what i was looking for

Strong enough to power wash my deck, but light enough to move around.

Now i know that in a couple years it will leak and i will end up going to a bigger/better one...but it works great now!


On a side note

Today march 2 my foam gun should arrive at my house! YAY!

too bad its sold cold here in michigan all my soap is frozen solid BOOO
