Which is better for Leather ?

Anyone ever used Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel on their coated leather?? Looking at giving it a try...

I have used it several times and like it a lot. I spray it on a sponge and wipe it in them go back over it with a dry microfiber. I then used Ultima Interior Sealant. Gives it a nice feel. The interior shampoo cleaned it very well.

I typically use folex (you can pick it up @ home depot/lowes), then follow w/ megs gold class leather conditioner. Works wonders! I dont think I've done a single car w/out cleaning the leather 1st. Test the folex on a hidden area first though. Hope that helps!

NOt the best picture but you can see an obvious line betweened the condtioned and non conditioned side, so at some point or another I believe they do need to be conditioned, maybe yearly,

Alcantara is a PITA: my wife's car has it and I pray for the seats never to get a stain. There are almost no products available for cleaning it (Swissvax has one).

For leather, the Leatherique combo is expensive but the best IMO.

"Race Glaze" also has a good Alcantara cleaner... I've been using it on my Alpina B7 headliner with great results.

Can't find Swissvax here in Canadia..

I found it to be more of a conditioner than a cleaner. It goes on nice and even and finishes well and looks very nice. The thing I don't like about it is that it creates a slick finish. I know this is done to prevent abrasion which can wear leather down. However, I find myself sliding around in the drivers seat a little bit. It's kinda like wearing silk boxers, they feel very nice but when you sit down you feel like you are slipping out of your seat.
Definitely way too slick for the steering wheel.

Good points...
Yes, slick, but I think it's a good thing for exactly the reason you stated.
I don't use it for anything but very light cleaning. Heavier soil requires a mild soap and water treatment first. I've just been using Lexol cleaner for that because I have a lot I want to use up.
