which is the best wax for white??

I wish I would have known you were looking for something when I sent out the DP to you today. I would have included some Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant and DP Poli-Coat Paint Sealant for you to try out. Pick one of those and you will have a good winter sealant.

I was just messing with him, but thanks anyways. I actually have both of those sealants. In fact, I also just acquired KAIO and KSG. Have to try those out next.

Fine I didn't want to send them to you anyway :)

Last step was to lay down a coat of Collinite 845 and this stuff made the white glow!

Its not going to happen with a white car. You can get a nice shiny wet look but not the deep wet look. Any of the waxes mentioned will achieve this.

A bright gloss is about the best I've gotten on white. I generally stick with 845 on white for that reason. I've topped with multiple layers of 915 and although it appeared a bit thicker, perhaps deeper, it really wasn't worth the added effort IMO. A drive in the rain with 845 on white and it doesn't even appear to get dirty. YMMV.

Not bad indeed!

Does the Opt Spray polish finish like a finishing polish with the blue pad?

If so, would you use the spray polish instead of PO85RD or Opt's Finish Polish for dark paint?

Thanks!

I have been playing with OPT polishes lately and I have to say OPT finish polish is not talked about much but definitely amps up the paint a ton. I have not tried finishing out with blue + hyper polish spray yet but will give it a go.

Are the 100ppm red OPT 8inch buffing pads comparable to blue/red LCC pads?

and +1 for Coli 845 or 915 on white! I do a couple white cars and this stuff is great looking and durable.

Max wax is another contender in the same price range with a lot less durability but increased ease of use especially if working in the sun.

My paint is Subaru Satin White Pearl. It is a very dull looking paint. It is very easy to make the paint shine but it is hard to get depth from it. These are the some of the products I have tried:

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant
Pinnacle Liquid Souveran
Collinite 845
Blackfire Wet Diamond
Optimum Opti-Seal
Optimum Car Wax
Ultima Paint Protectant Plus
Poorboy's Natty's Paste
Wolfgang Fuzion

I really liked each and every one of these products. If I was forced to choose one product out of these it would be the Blackfire Wet Diamond. I love the depth it gave me.

Honorable mention going to the Liquid Souveran and the Wolfgang products.

A quick disclaimer: The Fuzion, Natty's, and Deep Gloss Paint Sealant have only been on panels. My opinion might change if they see get full car coverage.

As always, your mileage may vary.

IMO, Any of the Collinite waxes are amazing on white, 476s is my favorite for white, but I can't tell a difference between 476s and 845, I just prefer a paste wax. Autoglym HD is what I would use though, its wayyy easier to apply and remove than the Collinites, looks amazing on white, and has great durability. I wish AG carried it!

just go to Walmart

I have two white vehicles, both new-ish. I found that Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant gives the slickest, wettest #### on the white paint. I added a coat of Wolfgang Fuzion wax on top, but the deep gloss looks better on white without the layer of wax on top. Plus I suspect that reapplication of the synthetic paint sealant will be more effective without the layer of wax.

I've tried a few Meguires products and have used Rejex for years, but still like the Wolfgang sealant best on white paint. Plus it's very easy to apply and remove.

For white cars I like Klasse SG because it has a plastic finish that goes very well on whites.

I have used several products and prefer the look of WGDGPS (2 coats) with a layer or two of the fuzion over the top. As far as white goes it give it the wet look with incredible depth. If you use these products you won't be able to help but step back and stare in awe at the results!
