which kit??

I think you can get a better deal if you shop around the site a little more - but, first things first, do you want the UDM or the PC? There are some great kits with each that contain only the machine and pads, you can then add the polishes of your choice and still come in with a price under the above choices sometimes.
 
i would rather have the PC, but it really doesnt matter. i kinda wanted to go with the PC and pads, with the super intensive (what the difference in super intensive and Intensive polishes) and nano polish, but that is gonna be pretty expensive, would i get better results with the menzerna products??
 
The difference in SIP and IP is that IP is designed for the new "scratch resistant" clearcoats. I've used XMT 3 and 1, as well as Menz Final Polish and Nano and the Menz wins in my opinion.

One more thing to consider, I know that the SIP and NANO look expensive, BUT, if you're like many here (myself included) and you're going to end up "just having to try" the SIP and NANO, it's a lot cheaper to buy them now than to spend the 50.00 on polishes that you don't want to finish using up first.
 
I would recommend Menz over XMT too, but I personally like Megs pads over LC ones.

so does that mean that IP wont work right on my clear coat (05 mustang gt)
also do the low profile orange pads that come as free gifts do as good as the regular orange CCS pads??
 
SUPER intensive polish (SIP) was designed for ceramic or scratch resistant clear coats

both SIP and 106ff were designed for scratch resistant, but work just as well on conventional paint, and all kinds of clear. Most everyone on this forum will tell you that these polishes are top of the line, and that they couldnt live without them:D

Also, the low profile orange pads are great, also actually proffered by some people.
 
i am looking at getting the IP and final polish, will they work as good as the SIP and 106ff??
 
I would look at spending the little extra and get 106ff, as it can probably do a little more correcting then final polish, and will still finish down perfect. You could then get IP or SIP if you needed more correcting power.

Its hard to judge from pictures, but I would bet that 106ff and an orange pad would take care of what you got going on there... but Im new to 106ff as well and Ill let someone with a little more experience say for sure on that one.

If I were you, get just 106ff first, then if you need more power, order the next step in menzerna that you need.

I have no experience with the XMT polishes, but I would guess you could get more cut with the XMT3, but would probably need to polish again with something lighter, like 106ff or XMT1.

I still think you should just try the 106ff first, then buy a heavier cut polish if you need it. Or if you dont want to mess around, you could get either SIP or XMT3 along with it, just to be sure you can get the job done.
