Which Leaf Blower for Drying?

Would the metro sidekick be effective to dry an entire car? This current no exclusions sale has me thinking...

No. It's great for mirrors, engine, wheels, trim, etc. but it isn't practical for an entire car.

You should see the looks I get from my neighbors when I pull out the leaf blower to dry my car. Not a single leaf on my property and I managed to find a use for one. LOL

I use a Ryobi P2105 cordless 120 MPH. Seems to do a good job

Are you guys able to completely dry the car with just the leaf blower, or do you have to towel it dry afterward to get all the spots off?

I would like to find something that dries the car so that I don't have to touch it with a drying towel. If you have a leaf blower that can do that, can you tell me what mph rating it has? Or if you have a shop vac that can do that, what hp rating do you need?

I don't think a leaf blower gets everything off. I know mine doesn't anyways. I get the majority off with my leaf blower then get the rest with a damp microfiber and spray wax.

If you're really set on not using a drying towel you may want to invest in a CR spotless water deionizer.

I'm with ya! I use this...

Just bought a Craftsman 9 amp electric blower on sale for $18.00 and has a two-year warranty. It is rated at 180 mph and I believe it because this thing blows! The one caveat is that it is LOUD. I recommend earplugs. I haven't had a chance to try it drying a vehicle yet.
