I am looking for some suggestions of which LSPs you all like to use on white vehicles. I have a 2014 Maxima in pear white, and I want it to really pop while providing really good protection. So I will probably go with a sealant vs a carnuba. I have some Blackfire wet diamond and 845 in my detailing arsenal, but I prefer the ease of application and removal of BFWD a lot more. I've never had a white car before, but does BFWD look good on whites? Or is there another LSP I should look at to get the pearl to really pop and stand out?

I always like the combo of DG #501/601 and then following that up with DG #111/601.

I have used Klasse HGSG and Chemical Guys JetSeal 109 on my white cars as will as Chemical Guys 5050 wax and their new White Wax on top of the sealants.

CG White wax has cleaners in it so it's best just to use that by itself no sealant under it.

Why would you use the Jetseal if your going to top it with the white wax? I'm just curious because the white wax has abrasives and cleaners in it.

The short answer...

Because I already had the Sealants on before White was available. The paint was smooth so I saw no need to reclay and just put the White Wax on top to see what it looked like.

FYI I'm still new at this and I'm playing around with different product to see what I like.

I put Prima Hydromax sealant on & it had a very unusual darkening effect that I'd never seen before; took a couple of days to get used to it but i liked it. Good durability too.

I use bfwd on our white Subaru and often get compliments. It is not as dramatic as Black but nothing is. If you have the bfwd I would go with that. Quick and easy and you already have it. It makes my car look wet.

My favorite combo on white is 4* UPP/M16, it looks great on white. Or if your lucky and score a container of Pinnacle Paste Glaz x2 and you are set.

Used this combo often on my pearl white Subaru with great results. Now I prefer 501/FK1000P.
The cleaning ability of 501 prior to the LSP is what makes all the difference on a white car.

I just used the Sonus Ion Paint coating/sealant..
reminded me alot of Powerlock..it is green like powerlock, maybe a polycharged version of Powerlock. It is thick, but breaks down thin, after about 10 mins.. it seems to disappear & bond into the paint. Removal was effortless.. my color was Barcelona Red metallic, however. A nice wax would be DoDo Juice Light Fantastic......
