Which MF towel for the "final wipe"?

I'm not sure if its because their new of not, but I picked up these:

And they seem softer than pretty much any super fluffy towel I have (after the first wash). If someone is looking for a soft fluffy towel, these should work great . They have satin borders though.

ya korean mf towels are the best . I might just have to have my mom call over to her siblings and see about getting mf towels direct or from supplier and have em shipped to me . gotta be cheaper that way ? my mom is korean so makes me a 1/2 a$$ .

I have a bunch of Angora's also, love em. I've been using them for waterless.

I used the BOA for buffing off LSP, couldn't be better.

You just can't beat Korean quality

The BOA towels are awesome. It acts like a Plush 500gsm cloth but without the lint issues.

What is everyone's favorite microfiber towel for drying? I use a standard meguiars waffle weave but it sucks!

As so divinely demonstrated by Tina....

And the poor girl looks like she's losing her balance. Perhaps someone needs to help her from behind.:dig:
You know.... with her balance and all.Im the MAN

These are 600 & 700 gsm towels, both do an excellent job with no worries of swirls. I actually feel the 600 was a better value, (at least by the case). Nothing like a 130 or so of them to get things done right. Plus they are very affordable.

I use the 600s(grey/red) from MFT for final wipe and QDs etc. I use the 700s for waterless washes. The green 600s are back in stock so I ordered a bunch of those to use for rinseless washes using gary dean method.

Which MF towel for the "final wipe"?

It bares mentioning that 'which towel' to use for the final wipe depends on the final wipe of a daily driver versus a top-notch show car, paint hardness factor comes into play as well, and so does "how you touch the paint". How you touch the paint is something most folks don't consider.

How you touch the paint versus how Mike Phillips touches the paint can be worlds apart. Mike goes to great length to stress how to touch the paint, but it's not like being there learning the 'touch' with hands on experience.

Just thought that I'd mention that towels are important only to a degree, but technique...well, technique is real important. I'd say you could use the best towel out there and if you don't pay close attention to technique it might still be possible to destroy the paint on a final wipe, especially with soft paint. My $.02 for what it's worth.

Jesus haha just looking for recommendations lol. Thanks tho.

Don't be fooled into thinking that buying the best towel known to man will work on the final wipe if that process is approached like a mad man. That's the point of my post, not only for the original poster, but to others reading into the future.

No yeah man. I should have reworded my post. I didn't mean it bad at all. I should have noted that. Thanks tho

Yep, they are both excellent towels. I actually like the 530 as probably one of the most durable all purpose towels out there. Great for everything from metal polishing to compound removal, even rinseless washing. (Not so much for drying though) Then again, I dry with a blower and have very little actual water left and they'll take care of that too. ;)

Along that line of thinking....
I recently was talking with a guy that promotes fairly expensive services, from a minimum $500+ for an AIO exterior touch up (no interior included) to a sky is the limit $1250 (2-stage) exterior job. He ONLY uses the cheapest OTC (white and blue) microfibers he can find, once and done, throws them out. I mean Wally World, $5.00 for 8 in a bundle. Hey don't get me wrong, I totally agree with throwing them out and not letting them touch paint again, but... I'd never have put them on paint to BEGIN with. ;)

In all honesty, the yellow Costco Eurows are better, and the gold Costco Kirklands are a WORLD better... AND... they are cheaper! :xyxthumbs:

None of course are in the same league as MFT's but surely better than the Wally World ones. Come to think of it, the gold Kirklands would be darned close to the 360's if only they were silk edged, (and at 60% of the cost).
