I have 7 meguiars supreme shine mf towels. I was wondering if these are good enough all around towels, or if I should buy some new cobras. I have 2 white cobra ones that came in a combo kit. I was looking at the cobra 600's but I can't find much info on them. I want mainly a polishing towel.

polishing --- Indigo's or Edgeless
wax removal --- white Ultima w blue edges, Supremes, or Jrs

Whatever you do, don't use the auto spa towels from Auto Zone for quick detailing! Someone on here mentioned those towels so naturally I bought a pack because they are incredibly soft (feel sort of like fleece). I sprayed on some QD and attempted to wipe, bad idea! They don't like to be wet at all. I still haven't used my Supreme Shine towels or my white edgeless towels that came with a pad kit from Auto Geek. I am holding out until Detail Fest before I purchase anymore towels.

To answer you question...maybe.

I have some Supreme Shines that are excellent, but I have many more than lint like crazy, especially when used with a quick detailing spray. The bad ones must have been attacked by aliens because Meguiar's insists they are all the same, when clearly they are hit and miss. I have 21 Supreme Shines, 3 are lint -free (I have marked them) and 18 lint like mad but make great kitchen towels. I must have washed them on "Destroy Micro-Fiber" setting on the washer.

I bought 6 of the 600's and hate them, they lint like crazy. Now I don't know what to buy as these things just cost way too much to keep "testing" which ones work the best.

Just did a count between all my Microfibers I have 336 and I just threw everything out with a hole in it !

I need an Ultimate Guzzler that is even Bigger !!!! Like 48" X 72" Call it the "KING KONG GUZZLER" great for large panels on SUV's when the Sun is up and things are drying way too quick. I already use about 4 Ultimate Guzzlers on an Average car when I think it may Dry to fast. I cover any Windows and Panels that are in Direct Sunlight to SLOW DOWN the drying and insulate from the Sun!!

I had my largest Guzzler taken at the Ecklers Corvette show almost three years ago, and still cannot bring myself to purchase another one. Its my owed to my friend the missing Guzzler !!
