What are you looking to get out of it.

8" good for the face of the wheels and wheel wells if you can reach

20" good for wheel face as well, done have to bend down as much, and can get to the back of wheel arches if your car is not too low.

Carrand - seems more like a tire brush, seems like stiffer bristles

Thanks for that.

I want it for my car that has hubcaps (luckily only one car has them) as they are very intricate and detailed and have lots of small gaps which are impossible to clean with a wash mitt or Cobra Bone Microfiber covered sponge.

I'm leaning towards the 8" as it's nice and short although the thought of being able to use the 20" easily in the wheel wells would be nice.

I'm wondering if anyone here has found the 20" too heavy to hold or has found any other drawbacks to any of these brushes during their use of them.

Thanks,
Matt

20" is harder when you are doing detailed cleaning or trying to do detailed cleaning as it gets hard to control sometimes. If you wheels have small gaps and such maybe a Daytona or ez-detail mini is in order.

Already have the Daytona wheel brush.

It's a hubcap so there are about 2" of distance between the front of the hubcap and the wheel behind it so the Daytona wheel brush isn't suitable and neither is the e-z detail mini. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I currently have an el cheapo Armor All brush that I use on them but it is wearing out and I want something better and bigger.

With the 8", can you still use it in the wheel wells easily?

Thanks,
Matt.

I use my 8 inch for wheel wells, granted I have to put my car up on jack stands because it is lowered, but when I do my parents car I can use the 8" to get back there. But both a 8" and 20" will have issues if your car is too low. 20" just makes it easier to get to the back were as the 8" you use your arm as the extra 12"

Oh ok.

Well neither my car or my parents cars are lowered so no worries about that.

I think I'll just go with the 8" because I don't think I'm going to have any problems reaching behind the wheels.

Thanks for your advice, I appreciate it.

Matt.
