Which orbital buffer, and why?

Yep just put the wax on (liquid or paste) set it to speed 2 and spread it on a no cut pad. All you're doing is covering the car so don't worry about working it into the paint.

You can do a lot with that machine and the right products. Applying "wax" by machine may be faster, but you won't get better results (or worse) than by hand.

I re-read your original post. For the most part, the terms "orbital" and "dual action" mean the same thing (FOR THE MOST PART).

What are you trying to accomplish?

So your asking if it's ok to apply wax by machine? If so, then I don't see why not?

Just make sure your using the right pad.

And a slow setting, where the wax is saying to use an orbital buffer?
