I'm for the PC. Great warranty. I just quickly browsed the website and manual and it says nothing about a warranty. It does have a bale style handle. Either way in the end most people remove the handles for better control, and you are directly applying pressure right on top of the pad and it's one less thing that can hit a car if you happen to slip and make a mistake. The power seems on par with the PC. The Griots is available with a much longer power cord saving you the trouble of buying one that is the correct gauge to length ratio. If you don't have that it will run hot and you can burn the PC out. I'm pretty sure it's 16 gauge for anything under 20' and 18 gauge for 20' and over.
The Griots comes 6.5" backing plate. The PC normally comes 5" counter weight making 5.5" pads the standard. So if you want to use the Griots with a 5.5" pads you would need to buy the 5" counter weight. I find the 5.5" pads easier to work with and there are all sorts of tricks to modify it to accept 4" pads simply because they have been around longer.
I have heard positive reviews on both machines. I have a PC and love it. It's built like a tank if you treat it right it will last a long time. If your not on a budget I would go with a Flex DA. Budget PC all the way.
Where can you get it <$100 new?GG-- lifetime warranty and can be bought for <$100 these days new.

As a novice I'm very happy with my decision to purchase 3rd gen. GG6. Very comfortable and smooth operating. Was up in the air between Griot's and Megs but warranty did it for me. Ordered a 5 in. BP and some LC 5.5 flats and I couldn't be more pleased.
