Which Products do you wish you NEVER BOUGHT?

I bought a sample of the two to try it out on a horribly marred and swirled out black car. I use orange and yellow pads with a Mikita on one half and the same set up with menzerna powergloss on the other half. The powergloss dusted less than 105 and was easier to remove. Wasn't a fan and I assure you that your assumption that I don't know what I'm doing is false.

Agree that ease of use is not a strong suit of 105, but it gets results. Not trying to attack you on here, just thought it was odd that you weren't seeing any better results using 105/205 vs the Megs otc stuff. Sorry if my comments sounded as an attack. Mostly wanted to clarify that 85rd is still available, just under a different name.

Those CCSpads with all the little holes <-- epic fail .. The embedded hard plastic coating in the holes marred the crap out of my truck
( )PC - stained my Dockers!
Optimum Compound and Polish .... Chunky crap in a bottle - never buying a BOGO again as it's always the expired stuff
UPGP - has never dried clear, always always goes on streaky and has to be QD'd -not interested in multiple steps
3/14.99 sheepskin 8" sq mits... Wring out to hard and u will twist off the fibers - product fail

Mr Clean AutoDry.

Sears 10" polisher/waxed

Turtle wax zip wax. Gotto love the instructions. Add one ounce to a bucket and add water. No consideration given to the size of the bucket.

And, a lot of stuff I bought before I found Autogeek. Although some were good products, I was using the wrong materials for my needs, etc.

This may sound like blasphemy, but all the expensive beauty waxes I stopped using after I tried Opti Guard! Corey got part of his inheritance early!

I sure did Dad!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zaino would be my biggest.

I noticed the date of this and although its almost 5 years old, is there any logical reason why this guy would bring up Zaino under this thread titleFeed back please

I know this thread is about the prouducts you wish you never bought and for the life of my I can't figure out why someone wouldn't like Zaino!

Now, my list is pretty short:

-Tried Turtle Wax Ice, horrible (QD wasn't the worst thing)
-Armor All, didn't know better back then

I wish I hadn't bought half the ones I have because I'm never going to be able to use them up. Between hoarding discontinued products, flavor-of-the-month, Big Lots (thanks, Spilchy), and internet store sales, I could start my own store.

Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer - difficult to use and poor results.

Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel

Meguiar's QuikWax

Turtle Wax ClearVue Glass Cleaner

Griot's Garage Rubber Cleaner

Griot's Garage Sprayers

There aren't many I absolutely hate, but these are few I just didn't like and didn't live up to their specified use.

Zaino is super expensive considering the size, used to be somewhat complicated with their steps, additives, etc..., require lots of coats to get depth, and finally have a bunch of loyal fanboys (I used to be one)

+1. I found it hard to use as well and not worth the results, I think poor boys pro polish is much easier to use and gives you the same/slightly better results.

My list could go on for days.
Mothers ....anything. Havnt bought in 20 years, probably changed, dont care, wont ever try again.
Meguires PlasticX,ScratchX,SwirlX or any other X they come up with.
ArmorAll anything...again havent used in 20 years.
Lexol leather products.
Spraymaster sprayers.

I feel exactly the same way with Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish.

Could it be that the formula for both is similar? Both AG manufactured products.

In other news, another Griot's sprayer bit the dust today, this time on the HD Wheel Cleaner. My favorite sprayers are those that come with the spray bottle assortment at Sam's Club.
