Which Quick Detailer / Waterless Wash ?

Can't find Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash here in Aus :/ ... few product seem to be not available in AUS that are recommended here :(.

Thoughts on Poorboys Spray and Wipe ? (comapred to WG Uber and ONR/OWW )
 
After much reading, it seems ONR is a great cleaner and Clay lube, but lacking as a QD (?)

A few products mentioned earlier, doesn't seem to be available in AUSTRALIA :( , including,

WG Uber Rinseless Wash

Ultima Waterless Wash

McKees 37


As my primary use is more towards cleaning light-moderate dirt, I might skip the ONR for now, and look more into the Waterless Washes.

I've rear good things about,

Poorboys Spray & Wipe, though not 100% sure if it concentrated and can be mixed to different ratios, or whether it just a RTU product. $25 1L

Finish Kare FK425, I think this is a Detailer (not a WW?), though have also seen it mentioned a few times. Again, not sure if it's Concentrated or RTU. Also, according this this (link below), it's not a great cleaner(??), more of a shine enhancer? *shrug*

Megs UQD seems to get the thumbs up from many people, and apparently good on black paint... though being a QD, am looking for something with stronger cleaning abilities.


Sorry if I'm sounding like a broken record, but do appreciate all suggestions, which certainly give me options to look at :) (especially being budget/value oriented)
 
I've used ONR as a quick detailer and think it works fine as an economical​ alternative to more expensive dedicated sprays. I wouldn't hesitate to use it if it's available to you.

@8oz. of concentrate per gallon?
 
Yes, I use this ratio, mix up a gallon and fill up my squirt bottles, that I leave in car and garage. I also have WGUWW. It may be slightly glossier but I think the ONR is a good product also.

Another thing going for ONR is the price. You can get 128 oz. for approximately $30 with you catch a good AG sale.

Yea but who's got time to wait for that once a year sale when you even have to use your gift certificate to get that price?

Now even though I only paid $16.24 total including shipping... We won't even have to go there.. Lets do actual prices and quantities.

Wolfgang Uber - 16oz. - $20 yields 5 gallons of waterless wash.

ONR - 32oz. -$16 yields only 4 gallons of quik detailer.

IMO there's no comparison which 1 is the better value.

I also bought 128 of WGU on the WG Uber website, got it for $50 something with free shipping.

I like it alot also.

I have Meguiar's D155 Last Touch and Ultima Waterless Wash concentrate. Both perform well, are cost-effective and versatile.

I just took the plunge. I would say
- the cleaning power is good
- shine is good (though i know i still have carnauba wax on the paint)
- my only problem is the paint is not as slick as when the meguiars UWWA is used as waterless wash
 
carpro ech20 continues to impress me. i've used it in the hot sun and haven't experienced any streaking like i have with other products (ex. optimum instant detailer in the sun is a terrible mess). there's really no sense in buying a QD these days when you can dilute a rinseless/waterless wash to QD specs and basically do the same thing, not to mention they are more user friendly and more bang for the buck as well. i diluted (recommended 15:1) a bottle of the GG rinseless wash & wax and so far with the limited time i've had with it, it's worked pretty well...
 
If your car isn't coated you don't have to be as particular. I know you said your on a budget but making an initial investment in a gallon size makes sense and saves cents, LOL!

Right now the "leader in the clubhouse" for concentration is WGU (1 oz of product makes 3 gallons) A close 2nd is the brand new Griot's Garage rinseless wash (1 oz makes 2.5 gallons) If you wanna just clean the car without leaving anything behind there is only 1 and that's McKee's N914 and is an outstanding product! I also love Car Pro Ech2o as well, infact, any of these will exceed your expectations, just make sure you have the proper mf towels, grit guard if doing a 2BM wash, etc.

I thought I read on here the Poorboys doesn't leave anything behind either? I'm looking for a product that will just clean.

If it is the spray and wipe waterless wash then yes it leaves nothing behind. It works well. It's a bit on the costly side considering Mckee's N914 is more versatile for the price.
 
N914 is the way to go here, period😎
