I am new to detailing and just bought a new deep red SUV. Looking for some advice on which sealant you pros would recommend? As well, do you suggest layering it with a any particular wax or other product? Thanks for your input!

wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant. 2 coats, 12 hours apart.

Four Star UPP or Wolfgang 3.0 Paint Sealant ...

UPGP for looks and ease (wipe on walk away, no buffing) Wolfgang 3.0 for durability. Top with Souveran or Fuzion as wanted.

im a college student...i used ex-p and topped it with nattys blue on a black pickup. was pretty deep.

this is just pw ex-p. i dont have any pictures after the nattys blue beings i put the carnuba layer on about two days later.

I just started using Ultima Paint Guard Plus on my wife's car (3 coats), and I have to say that I am quite impressed with it. It really looks good on the metallic spruce paint, and I've never used an easier protectant to apply. It really is wipe-on and walk away. I do not know yet how many months I will get out of it, but I'm hoping for at least three, though given how easy it is to apply (10 minutes top), I'll probably end up applying a fresh coat every two months.

I imagine that UPGP would look brilliant on your red SUV. And it really does look wetter after two or three coats.

yeah ex-p and NB is a good combo. For really deep/wet look though prep the vehicle with Klasse AIO for a clean base, and put 2-3 coats on of Natty's Blue or Souveran, both of which are heavy in oils, even on my white truck it was deep and wet.

I'm a fan of DG 105 and AW now, just quicker and easier for me to upkeep.

FK1 1000p, DG 105 and Opti-Seal are 3 I would suggest you look into

Chemical Guys has a really great assortment of sealents that are broken down by specific need.
