Which wax would be best ?

Hey everyone. Hope your holidays are going well!

I was wondering which wax would best compliment my synergy green color ?

I'm hearing dodo juice a lot but different names and not ONE singled out type of dodo juice wax

I want good protection while getting the most of the gloss and possibly the metallic flake in the paint..

Also, which sealant would be best paired with the suggested wax , or if I should even add a base coat sealant ?
 
Try Blackfire Sealant or Wolfgang Fuzion wax ...
 
Well your going to get alot of opinions here for sure and with that color and where you live, well, I'd stick with a quality sealant for sure, can't go wrong with any of these:

-Dura Gloss #111
-Black Fire crystal seal

IMHO when you've got a color like that, a synthetic sealant will give it "pop", can't really get so much depth out of it due to the bright color, not that a nuba would hurt it or be a waste of time but again, IMHO, a sealant would set that color off, big time. I'd do the usual, good wash, check to see if it needs a claying and check for swirls. If your good there, apply the DG #111 w/ their polish bonding agent so you can then apply the BFCS, wait 45 minutes and hit it again but be warned, have your sunglasses ready........wait your in FLA, surely they never come off, LOL!

BTW, love the color of your car too!!!
 
Well you can go with many different combo's:
Wolfgang Deep Gloss 3.0 with fuzion wax
Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint Sealant with Midnight sun wax
Chemical guys Blacklight with Petes 53 Perl

Those will most likely be the top three choices not in that order

If you are thinking Dodo, the options for your colour are:
Dodo Juice Light Fantastic
Dodo Juice Diamond White (same as previous but it is the hard version)
Dodo Juice Supernatural
 
4 Star Ultimate Paint Protection and Sovaran. If it is DODO I like Orange Crush. Just put 4 Star and Fuzion on my Red Candy Mustang. Looks Great.
 
Fuzion is my favorite wax. Buy it on sale and it comes with a free refill for a great deal.
 
I would have to say the BEST is HD Poxy or Esoteric's New Liquid Wax.










Just kidding. Never tried those. Get some Fuzion!

I know your thread is about a 'best-wax' for your vehicle, but how about:

-M21...
Followed by either M26, 3M Show Car Wax, S100/P21S, Colly 845/915.

OR...

-The Klasses Twins...
Followed by one of the above.

Klasse twins for most possible depth n a coat of SSII for metallic flakes.

Another vote for :

BFWD and BFMS or CG BL and CG Pete's 53.
 
Wow . Now I'm really stuck ! I think I'm going to take a shot at the rain forest rub or super natural.
I will get the fuzion once It comes up for sale again. I'm rocked off I didn't buy it on the cyber deals.if only I had a time machine !

Do you guys recomend a base layer to be topped with the rainforest rub or super natural ?

Also, the BOGO has two others to choose from. Hard candy and some other wax

Dodo Lime Prime Lite is a great pre waxer to use.

Is it a sealant ? And would adding a sealant under the wax benefit the look ? I would want some better protection as well.

Sealant: No, it's a cleaner / glaze (Lime Prime also has micro-abrasives but Lime Prime Lite doesn't)
Sealant under the wax benefits the look: No, just adds protection. The look is mainly prep and the product on the top layer.
 
Ahh okay . What is a good sealant to pair with one of the dodo waxes ?
