Had always used Meg's quick detailer kit with white clay.
The other day I saw and bought a Meg's plastic jar with blue clay labeled "mild".
That blue clay seemed less dense, lighter per same size than the white.
Much more pliable as well.
Are the various clays more to less aggressive and noted by color?
Thinking in ref to foam pads.
Also why would a clay have to be more or less aggressive?

Different clay color among mfg co differ. Megs has a pro line with red for agressive blue forb fine then the I guess the consumer line white. Then there is another line that has purple and gray another yellow.

The white clay is the finest clay Meguiar's is offering.
White < Blue < Red
However the blue clay is still very mild in my experience.

Meg's Red. Really is quite aggressive. Will cause some marring even with the slickest lube.

So DLaw says red is aggressive then the blue is average.
I think the blue or white will probly suit my needs.

But what would cause the need for an 'agressive' clay?
