Does it make sense to polish and detail a white cr with a porter DA, would you notice the diffference?

I think the main thing you'd notice is that it'd be much glossier.

OK wasn't sure if these cars were worth fooling with. Same procedures or anything special for them?

We did a 97 white Bonneville at our club meet this past weekend and it turned out rather nice.

Peocedure:
Washed
Clayed with Megs clay.
Polished with Micro and a FWP, Makita set on 2.5.
Polished with PO85RD and a blue pad, PC set on 6.
IPA wipe down
2 coats of Zaino Z5P
2 coats of PB red.

It rained and was overcast all meet long. The owner, he did the bulk of the work, was very impressed with the outcome.

It is fun to empower car owners to learn how to detail their cars.

looks fantastic

I am doing my sisters white Bonneville this weekend and will take a lot of pics and post them up. I will PM you a link to the thread.

I will be using Pinnacle liquid Sovran as a topper. I read a lot of threads here and there are a lot of references made to the Pinnacle Liquid Sovran as a great wax for white.

Thanks, if any one was curious my process was:
Wash
Clay with Hi Tech Magna Sponge
M105 and M205 with Megs pads via dewalt rotary
Klasse Twins
Pinnacle Signature Series 2
The customer was extremely impressed and was going to recommend me to all his buddies.

White like any color, responds well to polishing, waxing/sealing etc.. Basicly all I'm saying is if you do the job right, you'll be happy with the results.

I have the Pinnacle Porter kit, so it would be Swirl Remover #1, AIO+SG then Pinnacle caranuba finishing glaze. This is a new car, sound OK?

I treat white just like any other color. Under bright sun and street lights swirls can be seen. I've tried a lot of different waxes and sealants on white. I always come back to liquid Souveran. I think it looks the best on white.

Thank you for all of the different combo options on white. Nice to know that experienced detailers like to try out different combinations.

Your results look fantastic.
