Hey guy so I'm just getting into machine correction and I've been having a bit of a problem. Whenever I work with my compounds or polishes it throws a fine white powder over everything. Can't seem to figure out how to stop that. It isn't really wet like splatter would be. Thanks for the help. Andrew

It's dusting from the compounds. Its normal. Some compounds are worse than others. Some claim to not dust at all, I've never tried any that claim that. But don't worry its normal

normal, just cover up all the small spaces that you don't want dust to get it. very difficult to clean.

Thanks for the quick response guys. Figured it was normal just never noticed it happening in mikes videos.

I've found that the heavier the cut, the more it dusts. Usually I'll re-wash after compounding, or if it's not too bad use the leaf blower to blow it all off.

Be sure and pay close attention to the door jambs afterwards as dust WILL get in there. Good luck.
