White Paint Needs Help

Hello everyone. I need some help with how to go about cleaning up my cars paint. My car is white and after washing it this past weekend I noticed that theres lots of black/brown spots like paint overspray all over the car. This makes the car feel rough. I know it needs to clayed to get rid of that problem. I do want to get a Porter Cable to do everything else needed. But I'm lost when it comes to products.

Which clay works best? Which lubricant should be used to clay with?

After the claying process, what steps should I do with the Porter Cable? Which products work well with white?
 
as far as polish xmt works great...all clay is about the same
 
Clay Magic is available OTC, or you can get Mothers clay, Wolfgang, or DP (Pinnacle is too fine for this kind of a job, you need slightly abbrassive clay).
Works well with their clay lubes, or you can premix DP 4-in-1 and use that as a clay lube.

Welcome to Ag. You've come to the right place for help. You will need to clay 1st, maybe even something as aggressive as the clay magic red clay. After that, you will need either compound or polish. You may want to try DG 501 which can be used by hand since you don't have a pc yet...it's a cleaner. Other than that, you really need a RA polisher to correct any surface flaws. We're very good at spending other people's $$:D
 
I'll take a look at the clay systems available and go from there. I want to get a Porter Cable before I do anything to the car. I saw that richy posted I would either need to compound or polish. Should I just polish after claying to remove any swirls from the car? Also after polishing should I just move on to waxing the car? Or is there steps in between that I'm missing? I was looking on the online store at I saw that they sell the Porter Cables bundled with pads and different products. Which bundle pack would I benefit from if I'm looking to polish to remove swirls and wax? There are too many to chose from. Also thanks to those who replied. Appreciate it.
 
Get some DP Four in One and make clay lube out of it. It's so cost effective because you only need 1 oz of product for 31 oz of water in a spray bottle. For clay, you can get some over the counter since all clay sold in stores are made in the same place, there's just different specs for each manufacture. Many people suggest Clay Magic. I haven't tried it yet cause I have no luck finding it in stores. Good luck!
