I was just looking at my inventory today.
My plan is to go through and gut my products. I have a lot that is probably expired and not good anymore.

Out with the old to make room for some new/refreshed products… gotta keep the trucks clean 😁
Also plan to clean out the entire garage once the weather turns nice.

What do you all do to get ready for spring and detailing season?

I'll be doing a chemical decon and 3pH Labocosmetica wash come spring and ADS Phobics spray coating application to "boost" the coating I laid down in Oct

I’ll be doing a spring clean/detail for sure… this was just my prep 😉

the garage will get cleaned. the garden hose gets moved back out front and then pressure washer will be setup again once there's no chance of getting below freezing again.

I purged a lot of products a few years ago, but I need to do it again. I've got stuff I know I'll never use and they are probably 10 years old, if not older. I've also tossed some old polishing pads which are worn out and I'm no replenishing that stock.

I am looking forward to getting back into washing and caring for our vehicles as soon as things warm up. I've got a decon wash of the MDX planned as soon as the weather and other factors align, and my car will be getting a polish and re-coat as soon as temps get a touch warmer on a weekend.

Until then, I have to be happy with the occasional quick hand wash to keep the grime at bay whenever the weather allows.

After that PA winter!! YES. Stocked up over the winter and took advantage of sales. I am ready to go.

Yes... Some of my stuff has got to be 10+ years old at this point.

Wow, so I went through everything over the weekend...

Ended up tossing 2 trash bags full of expired stuff or stuff I don't use.
It was mostly very old stuff.

Freed up 2 shelves and a ton of room on my cart!

Something new? Not sure. I am open to try new products and brand lines.
But some of my tried and true are Meguires, Wolfgang, 303, Griots and Pinnacle.

Haven’t heard of those brands… but I’m sure there are many I have not heard of.

Labocosmetica is a full line company, ADS is an upstart, relatively speaking with great products and Griot's Garage-esque customer service and Griot's Garage is growing more since his son Nick took over

I guess the best thing to do is ask what your looking for and let's go from there

Well that is the 64 million dollar question…
I still have a ton of products.
I really will have to look to see if I have any holes in my products.

Ditto here, and I'm working all week. Should be nice for the weekend too in our area, but I'm going to skip any detailing at least one day to do a little fishing.

There's been at least a couple of inches (to a couple of feet) of snow on the ground since December here with not a single day above freezing until the last week or so. That's meant my poor car hasn't been washed in sometime in November. Close to 90% of the snow has melted and it looks to be in the 60-70's this weekend, so I might finally be able to get the hose reels of the garage, do a full 3ph wash, iron remover, maybe tar remover, and see if there's anything left of SiRamik Lustrous Plus Graphene spray coating topped with ADS Ceramic Sealant. I'm not expecting much (and not hoping for much), but the paint still self cleans surprisingly well when it rains. I may have to consider going over the paint with a mild clay bar, 22PLE ultra soft, and see what it pulls out.

I was thinking about trying out some of the Katiba products from THOR. However, I came to my senses when I saw what the shipping would be and my general not wanting to support the enterprise as a whole. Instead, I used an Amazon gift card to buy Sonax Ceramic Spray Coating and Ceramic Ultra Slick Detailer as my base and topper for this year at no cost to me. I'd use the SiRamik again but my bottle has gone off and turned into gel rendering it useless. Quite a shame because it cost a lot to import from the UK and I gave it a good shake every week to try and keep it useable. The performance was at least astoundingly good for the year+ it was on my car. There's nothing wrong with the ADS ceramic spray I just feel like trying out a new combo. I do have 3-5 year old bottles of Kamikaze Overcoat 3.0 and Polish Angel High Gloss, but I'd bet one or both of those are past their best by date.

I've taken to putting my coatings in the freezer. So far so good.
