Who cares about beading?

Durashine.. used it in the 90's.. worked great from what I remember.. sheeted instead of beeding. They advertised it saying beeding would cause burns in the paint from magnifying the suns rays.. old times!
 
This subject has been beat to death. I think it's funny when people say I like an lsp to sheet rather than bead.
I like a high contact angle and a low sliding angle when water touches the surface of my car. Cquartz works pretty well in both of those areas. It beads like mad and sheets water very well.
 
Looks matter the most, but beading is a must.
I woumdn't want to deliver a car that doesn't bead nicely. Big puddles are also magnifying glasses and can create water spots.
Mostly good beading and sheeting go hand in hand.

Yes I remember the commercial but couldn't remember the wax,I love beading,it speaks to me,tells me I did a good job or it's time to reapply

Make it a dollar......that way you could have a drink big enough to put a full sized beach umbrella in :laughing:
 
I absolutely hate beading. I'm sorry, I just do. It leaves water spots that non-waxed cars don't get, causing me to wash it more often just to keep it looking halfway decent. If there was a wax that just sheeted everything, I'd buy stock in that company :P
 
Sheeting trumps beading every time. You can always tell the rain and heavy dew spotted waxed cars...they stick out like a sore thumb and not in a good way...just the opposite of looking good.
