Who Opti Coats Glass??

I'm thinking about doing glass on my cars when I do the Exteriors. I have waited a long time to do them bc of all the prep work...And I have 3 cars lol A Grand Marquis, a 87 Mustang 5.0 and a Full size extended van....that's a lot of prepping lol

So who has done 'all' the glass?

I do everything except the windshield.

Haven't run into any issues as of yet.

The abrasive action of the wipers eventually takes opt-coat off and leaves you an unevenly coated windshield. I coat all the glass (even sunroofs), but I Aquapel the windshield.

I have heard others make the same comment of not coating windshields. When I did my personal vehicles I coated the front windshields and figured as little as I use my wipers I would worry about re-coating them if needed. Its only been a few months but they look fine so far.

I believe the instructions on the syringe said not to use on glass.

I got about 7 months from OC on my windshield. No problems. I didn't re-coat because I had a couple of tubes of Aquapel lying around. I polished it off prior to the Aquapel.
