Who said you need a fancy smancy polisher to do paint correction?

I do not quite understand the internet! Here is somebody who shows you via pictures of being able to do paint correction but still there are others who still claim it can NOT be done even though they themselves have never tried the shown method?

What is the psychology behind it? OP was not suggesting that you go and trash your $300 Flex for $20 Polish ball; so why have such fierce opposition?

I see the same behavior when somebody shows actual pictures of his work using HF buffer. The internet warriors go on offensive.

Somebody will eventually get a PhD by writing a thesis on this :-)

P.S. Paint polishing is an art but the tools used to achieve that are based upon physics. The most important factor is the method, the tool or polishing product is less important. The method is based upon the physical principle.

this procedure might interest the people who aren't inclined to spend a lot of money on a DA/Orbital.

.... and the people who have tons of time to burn. That powerball may come in very handy on those small to reach places like the inner mirror next to the windows, but other thatn that................ you'd get laughed at doing the entire car. I love the idea on small and hard to reach places ;)

I couldn't laugh at a guy with that much determination to get his car looking right, any means necessary!
