I buffed my camaro a few times always had swirl marks come out for some reason. I bought the boss G21 to make my jobs go quicker and better. So I buffed it out and looked amazing under all my lights no issues what so ever. So I applied the Gtechniq ex0 coating how they recommended. 3 days later I'm noticing water spots , scratches and imperfections popping up. Now why is that after everything look great when I did it and now everything is showing thru? Looking to resolve this issue. I'm working on a black Mercedes that needs paint correction. So far it's coming out like glass. It I use a rotary buffer first to cut it better then I go with the boss g21.

well, there are a lot of factors, lighting when you did the correction could have mislead you
your polish of choice might have had filler in it
you might have put the marring there during the wipe off or prep for the coating
you might have put them there during the coating application itself
if you touched the paint at all in the last 3 days for any reason that could have caused marring as well

oh also, NOTHING will stop water spots... nothing. if water is left to dry and has any contaminates in It, it will spot

What pads and products did you use to cut the paint?
When you say you correctly applied the GTechniq EXO "how they recommended" - I assume this means you used the GTechniq Panel Wipe to chemically strip the paint before applying the EXO?

I was using the menzerna 400 compound and their polish. I buffed it all out with the boss g21. For lighting I got an idea from a thread on here so I don't think lighting was an issue. Pads I was using what I got from griots garage to test them out. Everything seemed fine and glossy I did the wipe down the GTechinq eso. I did notice some minor scratches but nothing to big. It say in the garage for over 12 hours. I finished polishing it on Saturday left it outside on Sunday and now I noticed all the imperfections in the paint. Anything from bird droppings to water spots and scratches. It looked great even when I took it outside but a day later i noticed something then today even more.

Okay, so just to clarify, you used,
Griot's Garage BOSS 21
Griot's Garage BOSS pads (I'm assuming here because you were not specific as to which Griot's pads but it's a fairly safe assumption)
Menzerna FG400 and one of the Menzerna polishes

Gtechniq eso?
Do you mean GTechniq EXO?
I don't know what eso is?
Also, did you CHEMICALLY STRIP THE PAINT AFTER MACHINE POLISHING?
That would be a mandatory step before applying the GTechniq EXO.
I think I asked this previously but so far you have not answered if you did this step and if you did what you used? :dunno:

Sorry my phone keeps changing the words on me. I used boss 21 with the boss pads. Yes it's Gtechniq Exo V3 that I used and it came with a solution to wipe down the car after you polish it kinda like wax and grease remover. After 15 hours of being in the garage I left it outside because I'm working on another car. It basically looks like water spots on my car. I wiped it down with detail spray, but it wouldn't come off. I took some polish with the boss G21 and it cleaned up the spots. Looks like that's what I might have to do to it again.
