Why every detailer needs a steamer+extractor

great work on that interior! nice when you have tools like that to use!. i agree on "dressing" the carpets not even doing lines just have the fibers one way can do this on final pass with extractor :) to me if they are not dressed carpets look "dirty" due to contrasting colors when the fibers are all different ways...im a bit ocd though as well LOL, like i said i always "dress" the carpets on the final dry pull. keep up the good work!

Geez...good job. I guess when people let their stuff get that nasty, a steamer/extractor is a MUST.

Interiors that has never been taken cared for or cleaned will definitely need at least a steamer. I like the steamer because it can get into tight spaces and blow dirt out. Where with the extractor you need to get a service attachment.

Gary,

I could agree with you more!

Both are essential tools of the trade and have a place for ensuring that the jobs done right the first time.

It's amazing how clean that interior turned out but with the right guy behind the right tool it just has to equal success.....:props:

Thanks Bobby for the kind words!!! Last time I had an interior detail for a different mini van, and all I had was LGM. It was a nightmare, both were in the same condition. But I wasn't happy at all with the LGM. The LGM was no match for that job. If I had the extractor and steamer it would of been quicker and better.

Work smart not hard. :props:

Thanks Mat! Yeah I'm guessing the wet carpets is making the contrasting colors in them. I will definitely work on dressing the carpets next time.

All you do is vacuum one direction then opposite next to it?
