Greetings, Today was the first time I used my Griot's Garage DA polisher on my car to apply Chemical Guy's Blacklight with a LC Blue pad.

I'm glad I read Mike's instructions and watched his vids on Youtube. Though I read and viewed his posts over and over I thought I would start off small by applying the Blacklight instead of the Menzerna polish I purchased. I figured it would safer for my first time on my 2013 Honda Accord Sport.

I did okay starting off but halfway across the hood it started splashing across the windshield and wipers. I found my technique was a little off because I placed too much product on the pad and my speed was on 4. So I decreased the amount on the pad, applied a little more pressure and lowered the speed to 3 and all went well for the remainder.

I just wanted to say THANKS Mike for your instructional post and vids. Continuing to learn daily!

I usually apply glazes, sealants with a 3.5 speed. IT doesn't splatter and spreads nicely.

No need for much pressure either FYI.

Glad it worked out! :)
