I agree with the OP. I have an enV Touch from Verizon, pretty much the smartest "dumbphone" they make. It takes good pictures since I don't have a digital camera, call quality is good, the antenna is located on the bottom of the phone so no problems with reception, good music playback and a 3.5mm headphone jack and I can look at Word, PowerPoint and .PDF documents on my phone. And I had a smartphone for a day (long story short, I got lied to by Verizon), and when I got the enV Touch, I was comparing the features, and they were the same. The regular phones are making huge strides in what they can do. I just can't see myself paying $30 a month for data, in addition to the actual phone usage.
I love my smart phones but my sis in law has an EnV Touch and I have to admit it is one heck of a phone.
