Why negative comments?

Unfortunately the answer is very simple....There a LOT of a-holes in the world and seems most know how to use the internet.

Fortunately, there are very few on Autogeek. Occasionally one will surface and they try to get under your skin and it's up to you how to deal with it...

If you're somewhat thin skinned, ignore it and move on.

If your thick skinned toy with them a bit and play their game. It doesn't take long for them to fall apart...

These individuals are the type or kind of person that has no life and lives for finding fault in others. They desperately need this in order to feel superior, not that they are but in their eyes there's no one more intelligent, more superior in every aspect of life than them. More often than not, this type if individual suffers from a psychological disorder and lacks in self-esteem?

The origins of lacking self-esteem or self worth usually lie in childhood. It's often attributed to a lack of love or a lack of time spent by at least one parent with the child. No child understands time not spent by parents on them.

If you could dissect their lives you'd find that they weren't very popular and had very few friends. Because of this they feel the need to prove their virility and they do it anonymously from behind a keyboard....... he's probably suffering from a yeast infection...

They're all bottom feeders....

Keep doing what you love most and ignore these vermin!! :autowash:

Its You-Tube! Where everyone is an expert on everything

It is a negative world, look at the news! The percentage of bad news compared to good news is probably 90/10, seriously.

Ha... People...

If there's one thing you can always count on; it's cynicism. Add anonymity to the mix and it's no holds barred.

You can be the nicest guy and pass out free $10 to strangers, and guess what? Someone would complain and call you a cheap ####### for not handing out $20.

Best deterrent against negativity is simply not giving a crap. Never feel bad or apologize for doing your own thing especially when you're not messing with anyone. Kiddies don't approve? Well, sad day for them.

I agree with Bob! I use to let crap like this get to me. BUT YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID! There will always be mean people with no life.

In most cases, Negative Comments, from others...
are their own fears or insecurity being projected onto you.
If you allow them to, their doubts will seep in,
and then throw you off your path.

I try to raise my soul so high, that the
offense can not reach it.

^^^^ :iagree:

One of the many great things about this hobby/business (or the other way around for some) is there is it doesn't matter your sex, your color, what part of the world your from, your income bracket, the kind of home you live in, the kind of car you drive or anything else that makes us all different. All that matters is your love for it and as you can see on this forum there's alot of us who has nothing but love for what we do/enjoy. So ignore the naysayers and remember...

I love technology, but hate keyboard experts. Many are truely knowledgable, but topics often become convoluted by the pissing match between a prepublescent kid and an adult that has taken the bait.

Never argue with an idiot! They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Your video rocks! Detail on!

Trolling on YouTube is basically a sport for some. A bunch of wankers basically posting from their mom's basement to see if they can rile the content providers in most cases. You can always lock down comments, but nothing will be done about any comments on YouTube, so it's a breeding ground for this particular type of basement dwelling bacteria.

I must admit, Autogeek is the only forum I have been on that doesn't have trolls all over the place. Maybe us detailers are just mature?

:iagree: This fact somewhat suprised me when I joined. Trolling is much more common on the truck forum where I am an active member. Some threads are just overrun. I just told my wife the other day "I can't believe how kind and helpful the Autogeek regulars are". Maybe, just maybe I haven't lost all faith in humanity after all.......

I wouldn't even let it get to you. I have to say... nice idea with the sign. :xyxthumbs: I was thinking about doing the same except with a "wet floor" shaped sign. The one that hinges at the top and pulls apart on the bottom.
