I've always wanted to ask this.
Mike,
Why doesn't AG carry Swissvax products?

Not Mike (or his spokesperson)...But I wonder...I've always wanted to ask this.
Mike,
Why doesn't AG carry Swissvax products?
-Although it appears (to me) that neither one of us, so far, has actually providedI've used Swissvax wax for years but switched to a cheaper wax that works as good or better.
I have heard that Swissvax waxes are hard to work with. While some may say that hard-to-use waxes are for professionals only... a true professional would realize that hard to use products run the risk of instilling more defects into the paint, no matter how careful you are.
TBH its the exact opposite. Unless you are trying to do some fancy hand massage (which is a huge waste of product) they are honestly the easiest and a dream to work with. I apply it to every surface except glass. Zero staining on trim pieces

Amazon sells it.
My guess is profit margin is not high enough. This would also be my guess why no Zymol. That and the fact I think only the waxes would sell (albeit slowly). I just can't see many AGians spending $100 for 16oz of car wash, or $60 for 8oz of wheel cleaner concentrate.
Not to mention, these LSPs would compete for sales with Fuzion and Souveran - which are likely high profit items because they are house brands. I just don't think these super high priced car care items sell much volume, when there are less expensive alternatives that are known to work well.
* Swissvax sells it on Amazon. Look at the seller
Before Autogeek, Bob (Max) owned several stores locally that specialized in car care products. Zymol was available and from what I remember was not a quick and big seller.
I know from speaking with him there are many items that go into offering a product or line. One is can they provide the levels needed initially and thru restock. Other reasons can certainly include territorial rights. I suspect you also want to have your stock turnover quickly so your not stuck with alot of pricey inventory that doesnt move and eventually needs to be sold at a loss. I am sure other reasons exist also ...

Would you be so kind to provide the information regarding which wax you have now switched to that's:
-Not only cheaper (pricewise...I presume?)...
-But works as good or better than any Swissvax wax(es)?
Thanks.
Bob
the problem is not with AG but the vendor itself.
^^^In the case of Swissvax...:iagree:^^^
Must a re-seller solicit Swissvax; or, is this a diametric-process?
2. Exclusivity - The High-end vendors recognized the fact that their products are not for everyone but only for a small segment. This particular segment will pay for exclusivity. They certainly don't want to saturate the market.
^^^Excellent point!!^^^rops:
^^^Because^^^:I am not certain if Swissvax wants to do business with AG. I doubt they do. But then....Never say never.
^^^That's for sure!!^^^
It was not too long ago...Send me a PM with what you are interested in.
Zymol was available and from what I remember was not a quick and big seller.
Zymol must have met the below product's demise!!
We used to sell Rubbish Boys wax but they did not move so we discontinued them.
^^^Even if AGO never has Swissvax as one of their offerings^^^...reasons can certainly include territorial rights.
