Why the lack of self-serve car washes in Westchester County area?

Yeah, I couldn't wait any longer... It was about 40 and cloudy which I was looking for (to avoid spots as best as possible).

It did an ok job. I think the one in Rockland is a little better as far as the pressure (or at least it was a bit more focused). This one was a much wider spray (so not as strong but probably safer).

My car is still quite dirty...but for $3.50 it is at least somewhat better.
 
We have one here in Carmel on old rt 6. There probably isnt more of them because of the DEP and their rules. THere used to be more of them around. I wash off my vans at the one mentioned all the time. There is a few on rt 22 NB in Pawling and Dover in case any of you are heading home in the summer after a weekend and want to get the bugs off.
