Why You Need an Audi in Pittsburgh

AWD is a lot of fun. Fun year-round too. The S4 is the perfect mid-size Daily IMO.

Since my move to NY I'm looking to sell my 2011 Z71 Tahoe and get back into a sports car since selling my BMW 335 before coming up here.

I'm currently searching for a B8.5 Audi S4!

Jump on Audizine and read up. Pretty simple and reliable platform. You'll love it.

Not sure if you're into modding but power wise, the tunes out there have expanded and all are very solid and reliable.

Mine came in at 395awhp/370awtq on a Dynojet. DSG is a blast too. Pretty consistent high 11's to low 12's at 115-117mph. That's on a 93 octane tune with about 3 gals E85 mixed in. Not too shabby for a 4,000lb car. 4200 with me in it :xyxthumbs:

The full E85 tunes are starting to come out too. I'm staying put though as that will require a HPFP and a few other bits. Early results show 50-60hp bumps though.

We're waiting for the RSQ3 to hit the shores as a replacement for the wifes wheels. We no longer really need a minivan. https://youtu.be/PWjDKVb6xic

This was my work earlier this year. No plowing needed after 2 feet of snow.

As a lifelong Pittsburgh resident, I can tell you it's not only the hills that we have to contend with, but those cobblestone streets are a real @#*+% in winter!

Man is that the truth and I learned to drive on the cobblestone streets over 50 years ago--there were allot more of the cobblestones then. I turned 16 in January and was learning on a 3 speed. The parking brake was your best friend!!!

The parking brake was your best friend!!!

It still is for me.

While both of my Subies have hill holder feature, I still go for the e-brake whenever I'm at a steep angle (hello SF parking). It just works better, period.

And to keep the 'AWD is fun' theme going...

Yeah I've been reading up over the past month or so. Currently found a nice 2013 Monsoon DSG S4 in Cali with 19k miles I'm debating flying out to buy. I'm big into modding my cars. My 335 was FBO with inlets and a e40 tune. I'm already looking into options for the S4. Will definitely go Stg 2 (tune, DSG tune, pulleys, intake, exhaust), coils, sways, wheels etc on it eventually. Trying to keep it stock for as long as I can. My 335 lasted 3 months before getting tuned. 6 months before being FBO haha
