does every DIY youtube video that I have ever seen demonstrate car washing or rinseless
washing with a clean vehicle? Any chance someone could demo
a reality-based vehicle? Just my 2 cents! Feed back please

Most of these videos focus more on technique, rather than before and after results.

If you focus on the technique that is being shown in the video and take note, you can achieve great results in the real world.

The car in the above video is way too dirty for a waterless wash. A few more of them and it will be swirl city. While the technique is OK, the idea that washing a car that dirty with a waterless wash is appropriate is wrong.

There's a fine line between when to waterless or rinseless then another fine line between rinseless or busting out the hose and buckets. If the dirt on the car clearly without just the right angles close ups and good lighting shows up on video odds are it should be rinseless or hose and bucket washed and not waterless washed. Hence why several waterless videos seem like the cars are clean when in reality they're as dirty as they should be to safely waterless wash them. That level of water spots and light dust etc just doesn't seem to show well on camera in some cases due to camera angles, lighting and the camera being too far away to pick it up. It's usually in the close ups or on the towels after wiping that you can tell how dirty a car in a video actually was, unless it's a real good video that takes time to get lots of angles and close ups.

To me the question is what is more important in a video. To show the proper way of using a product, or to show the effectiveness of the product?

I feel both of these things are important. I would like to see the product used in real life examples. This way I would not only learn the proper technique but also understand if the product will do what I am looking for. This would aid me in being a well informed consumer selecting and purchasing the right products for my uses.

Thank you... Obviously, I agree! :dblthumb2: :buffing:
