Hi,

I am looking to polish my car for the first time. I will be using the griot garare 6inch DA to do the job. But I am a little confused with the polishes. I don't know wich product line to use. What about the Poorboy's and Griot garage polishes?

Thank's for your answers

Boy there are so many good polishes. How bad are the defects you want to correct? It's hard to go wrong with M105/205, Menzerna, WG twins, D300/D301.

What kind of car are you working on, what color, how bad is it?

There are quite a few quality polishes available but depending on your goals one might be better than another. Tell us a little about what your car looks like.

Don't overlook some of the 1-step products as they do a spectacular job...

My car is a metallic grey volvo s40 wich is 6 years old. The paint as a lot off swirl mark and there is some rds. How do you know if the scratches are to deep to be work?

Thanks

Can you feel the scratches with your fingers or fingernails? If so, they are deep.

If you can feel the RIDS with your finger nail they may be too deep. But you can always improve them.
