Has anybody tried/heard of this stuff?

Widow Wax, the future of wax products (link removed per terms/conditions)

Was going to order some but I figured I better see what you pros have to say.

Thanks guys!

There was a product from 'way-back' call "Glass-Wax." Came in a pint tin can. Don't really remember how well it worked (or not).

Bill

Glass Wax dried on the window, and you wiped it off with a cloth. You could put food coloring in it and apply it to windows for decorations, then wipe it off when you wanted.

I did the windshield of my dad's car once, and if I remember, it beaded water like crazy, but he wasn't impressed, lol.

Question: Doesn't all car-waxes have the potential to be "widow-makers"?

However...RE: This particular "Widow Wax":
Heard of it...Never used it.

But since it's sold by an Ohio-based Company...
I say: "Go ahead and purchase a bunch of it"!!

:)

My dad would not use it, because it made the window glare, He said it was to shinney.

It is very old- because I am very old.

Missed the missing N in widow. IIRC didn't Glass Wax sponsor Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts ?
OH! did I say that.

Missed the missing N in widow.

^^^Are you sure the OP is talking about something to put on car-glass?^^^

No...I really don't believe I left out an "N"...
Not if the OP is talking about Widow Wax: "The future of wax products"...
As per his below OP:

Sorry. I thought the OP was talking about Window Wax and the missing N was a typo. Then I saw the picture of the product " widow wax "

Maybe some of you older folks would remember Bon Ami. That was like a powdery product used to clean windows and it made a dusty mess when taking it off. Also small store front windows would be coated in the stuff when they wanted to keep people from seeing in. Those were the days , yea right.

Yes you did!

Ah, the "Old Red Head," I can hear it in my mind. Now to get that cup of Lipton Tea and all will be good.

I too missed the missing "N".

Fact:
Not only remember, but still use it.
Still use: "Bar Keeper's Friend", also.

Opinion:
Still don't believe the OP's thread-starter is about auto-glass, per se.
