Will AG carry Wolf's Chemicals??

Add me as another vote for Bilt Hamber - I love their Finis Wax, have some Auto Balm waiting to be tried, and have read good things about their Hydra Wax, Cleanser Fluid, Car Wash - heck, I don't think I've seen a bad review about the line :D Their clay is my goto - though I appreciate that you can't bring that in until the Clay Magic patents expire.

Why is certain clay available, and other clay not due to the patent issue? What's the difference, between say, Mother's selling a clay
in the U.S. and Bilt Hamber?

All the clay sold in the US is either made by or licensed by AutoMagic, now owned by ITW. They hold the US patents for another year or two until they start to expire, there are about 5 of them, I think.

Hey, the line that hasn't been mentioned in this thread (I don't think) is Permanon. Last time I looked there were some really interesting products, but they didn't really have great distributors. I think Richy and Old Tiger have used some Permanon products.

FYI Gtechniq is manufactured by Permanon

IIRC that's a simplistic way of describing the relationship. And also IIRC GT has not product like the Permanon spray on rinse off stuff.

Lol All I know is I love Permanon ( though a little costly ) and Phil is the man !!!!!!!!

Phil is an amazing resource to the detailing industry. He is also one hell of a businessman. His service cannot be beat and others would be hard pressed to match it.

His forum is open and honest. He does not hawk products like other forums. He sells by problem solving. You post your problem or need and only if you ask he gives you the Perscription. He is the detailing doctor. The only other guy I think is close it Todd H.

Phil has the business acumen and detailing knowledge needed to help pros and weekend worriors clean your car and stock you supply closet. He can also teach the big guys about customer service, quick accurate shipping and follow up. Simply a pleasure to do business with.

I use 3 Wolf Chemical product all the time.

the glass sealant goes on every car I detail

the Rim sealant I use for my own cars

and I use body wrap ofter as well.

All 3 of these products are amazing. incredible durability and the gloss from the rim shield and body wrap are amazing.

But the thing I like the most about Wolf chemical is how easy to apply and remove they are. And there not finicky from what I have seen. The glass sealant is a 2 step cleaner and sealant. And play very well with rubber trim, so you dont need to tape off every surrounding area (although its not a terrible idea to do so).

Well, if we're making a wish list, how about Zymol? I love their products and use them on my own car only, for now. I would like to offer it to my customers but at a higher price as their prices are a tad higher than what I've been purchasing lately.

Even if the clay cannot be sold in the USA for legal reasons, the rest of their range is very good. The rust proofing products are excellent and here in the wet UK we have a good idea about rust.

As for Permanon this is one of the few products which I simply could not get to work for me although to be fair many others think it is a great range

ok, so make a thread about it. THe title of this thread says Wolf Chemicals.

Every Wolfs product I have used (body wrap, hard body, trim sealant, leather sealant and new moon wax) have been great. The leather sealant does have a learning curve and stinks but it's still good stuff. I would like to try the blue moon wax but haven't been able to get it yet. Since we're asking about product maybe AG could look into Auto Finesse, I've only used the leather conditioner so far but it does a nice job. I have the base wax (temptation), leather cleaner, glass cleaner and tire dressing still to use but so far so good on the product.
AG tried to pick up Auto Finesse but they declined. There are only 2 AF resellers in the US with myself being one of them ;)

And, at least here in Europe, it is one of the most inexpensive clays.

Funny I have the same tire cleaner that they use and I get mine for $$35 per 5 gallons. When I dilute mine to 1:1 it is still stronger than tuff shines and they charge like $12 plus shipping for 22oz.

Check the price of Tuf Shine here in Europe and you will see how much we suffer...

I am a loyal Wolf Chemicals user. Their glass sealant is easily one of the best if not the best at any price.

Hard Body and Body Wrap are phenomenal products. I don't use anything else any more.

They must have picked you because you can move more product then AG.

Can you do a lighter test on your hood for us?

No that wasn't the reason at all.

AG approached James from AF with, let's just say, a large amount of money to sell their products. James refused simply because he didn't want to be told at what price his products will be sold for and he supports smaller businesses.

Phil from DD also tried picking them up but James didn't want only one reseller in the US.

you have your website about the auto finesse?
I have never try any of your product.

I've used Wolf's Body Wrap sealant and it's a very nice product. If I had to compare it to another that I've been very pleased with it would be Ultima Paint Guard Plus paint sealant.

Wolf's Body Wrap's application is a bit different than that of Ultima's Paint Guard Plus but they're both very easy to apply....:props:
