Just got in a bunch of goodies from black Friday etc., I am wanting to use the blacklight v7 combo. Does blacklight have enough abrasives to remove the lsp I have on their now?

Also what would you guys put between the blacklight and v7? Fuzion, souveran or max wax? This is a black car btw

Blacklight may have some cleaners, so yes it may remove your existing LSP. When BL came out even CG didn't know what to call it. Most called it a glaze. I would not put anything between Blacklight and V7. No waxes under a sealant.

BL is either an AIO or a sealant depending on how it is applied. So, it can remove your current set-up.
I don't have it, but if you car is black you can top BL with:
Chemical Guys BLACK Wax
It's from the same brand, so they should work well together.
Use V7 from time to time to refresh the look.

It's funny to me that none of us really know what blacklight is

:iagree:

Blacklight is a glaze containing extremely mild abrasives, top black light with a wax or sealant of your choice, and perform a v7 wipe down after every wash following

i found that BL with CG 50/50 wax and V07 is awesome combo

Thanks
It seems like there is conflicting opinions on whether or not it is Ok to put an additional wax between the blacklight and the v7

Its even funnier that CG never states what it is. It has all this "history"/ " research" but they never say what it is just uses. Does anyone know what it is exactly???

Thanks

It is OK. V7 is more a QD than a sealant (CG advise a weekly usage, after every wash - so, you can see the type of durability it has...).

I like to put on a sealant and sometimes wax after using blacklight and then use v7 weekly.

I agree that it is an AIO product. Also, I always top Black Light with a wax. The instructions on the bottle say to let it cure for 30 minutes and then top it. Use it on my SLK55 AMG and top with Pinnacle Sig II and it looks fantastic.
