Will car soap survive this extreme heat?

Aside from my recent AG order (which hasn't shipped yet), I ordered some Maxi Suds from another retailer. It shipped Wednesday and I received it today.

My question is: did it survive given that it's nearly 100 degrees outside, and probably 140+ inside the FedEx truck...? Or will I not know until I try it (and even then it might be hard to tell if it's working properly...).

Thanks for any thoughts.
 
you shouldnt have any problems with your soap.....if it suds, its working
 
Thanks guys. One thing I just noticed in the container is that anywhere the liquid touches it leaves a pink 'film' on the inside of the container. For example, there is a couple of inches at the top of the container that's empty. If I tilt it so that the soap fills that area, and then tilt it back to normal, a pink film remains over that top portion. I'm hoping that's normal and an indication of how well the soap will cling to my car, but can anyone confirm that it's supposed to do that?

If it looks like some separation may have occurred shake or mix the product. There's nothing in the formulation that will all of a sudden attack the paint. Pour some in a bucket, add water and see if it looks normal.
 
It should be fine. All of my soaps are in the cabinet in my garage and it's been well over 100 in there for the past couple weeks and I've never had a problem
 
What matters is the temp of the paint. Never wash in direct sunlight if possible. Ambient temp not a factor in this case however many products require the paint to be cool to the touch.

Um...isn't Maxi Suds pink? My guess is that's why it is leaving a pink film inside the bottle. You're overthinking this--go wash your car!! (when it cools off outside)

Yeah, I usually over think things... It is pink, but at the same time Optimum is blue, and doesn't leave a blue residue inside the container (if I recall correctly).

If the heat ever breaks I'll let you all know how it turns out.

Eh...different car soaps are different consistencies and use different dyes...IIRC the Maxi Suds comes in a nice clear PET bottle, while the Optimum wash is translucent PE...so there may be some visualization differences.

Tomorrow, my friend, cooler tomorrow...finally got my new faucet setup and I'm dying to try it!
