I use UITG and love it! I recently wiped down my interior with 1Z and the dash board looked "blotchy" after. I didn't use a lot of product and wiped with dry micro fiber after wiping down with a " spritzed " micro fiber . I normally use a micro spritzed with distiller water to wipe down my interior as its already protected with uigp. I was just looking for a little more " clean ". Thank you

If it looks blotchy, it probably did remove some. Just re-coat with UIGP. 1Z Cockpit Cleaner is also a protectant so use either or, but not both.

+1. I would guess it wouldn't remove it all but it will definitely wear it down. Cockpit cleaner is an effective product.

Maybe try a 10-15 percent IPA solution. I know gtechniq recommends IPA prior to a #4 (trim) or #5 (alloy) coating.

Maybe on exterior trim, but I would not use IPA on interior dash and trim.

Really good input guys. Thanks a lot for the replies . I'll use apc - wipe with distilled water- dry- apply uigp and then when I detail I'll just spritz a micro fiber with distilled water for a wipe down

Update- took some time this past weekend and fixed this " issue" only problem is that it turned into a fresh application of uigp on the whole interior . Looks great though!
