Will Spotless affect Hydr02?

So, just as the title states, I've got a car I do maintenance washes on weekly, and he got some pretty bad water spots last week (I'm guessing a sprinkler in the sun). I put Hydr02 on it about 6 weeks ago and was curious if using CarPro Spotless to remove the spots will negatively affect the hydro2 at all. I know it's fine for coatings, but not sure about this and curious if anyone has any experience or knowledge about it.

I have a feeling that Hydro2 might be compromised by spotless based on what I read in the precaution section on spotless. So maybe you would need to reapply Hydro2:

Precautions:
NEVER spray directly on glass. Use with caution, buff in and off instantly and neutralize.
※ Acidic solution - wear disposable gloves while working to avoid possible skin irritation.
※ Test in an inconspicuous place of any new material before using elsewhere
※ Do Not Ingest
※ Keep out of reach of children
※ Do not spray in eyes - Wear eye protection to be safe
※ May affect windscreen/window coatings and traditional sealants and waxes

Anyone else have actual personal experience using spotless over Hydr02?
 
There should be no need to re-apply, it should be just fine! Just don't let the Spotless dwell to long, or agitate it to hard and you'll be fine. Hydro2 is not a tradtional sealant, it is SIo2 based, and much more durable than a tradtional sealant.

That's awesome to know.
 
Cool good to know! The fact that Hydr02 is so untraditional is what made me think it amy be fine. I'm sure though once I thoroughly rinse the spotless off the hood I'll be able to tell if the Hydr02 is still working properly, and if not I'll just go ahead and reapply - only the hood and roof really need the spotless anyway, so not a huge deal.

I'll update this after Friday once I rewash the car again and remove the spots.

Keep us updated. It appears hydro2 is burlier than I anticipated.
 
The label on Spotless says that it may remove their coating, I would imagine that Hydro would be toast.
 
does CarPro have access to the people who actually make their stuff? not Avi, as he doesn't make it, but the Korean group. i'm curious because it'd be nice to be able to get comprehensive answers from the chemists who actually create the products instead of a sales person/distro.

I never cared for spotless doesn't work well on our water spots - 3D's 'Eraser" is superior
 
I'll let you guys know Friday afternoon after I've tried it out.:xyxthumbs:
