I really need this book. Basically, I need all the help I can get - and I'm not afraid to ask for it, or look it up, or more importantly, READ the book!!
 
I am a new member and have always been picky about my vehicles appearance. After discovering this web site I am completley amazed with the information available, and realize that I know very little.
Providing me with more information could only cause me to spend more money on products that the wife dosen't think I need.
 
I would like one for the simple reason of having a quick reference and also being able to better inform and teach my customers. I find it hard to get them to understand certain aspects of detailing and great book like this with diagrams would be a real asset.
 
This book is a must for my nightstand...I would read it every night before I go to bed...and if for some reason the next day I do not wake...I would have fallen asleep a happy man!!!
 
I really want to get a copy of this book as I have learned so much from Mike online, but I can't afford it since I spent all of my "disposable" income on my last autogeek order! LOL!:buffing:

I would like to get a copy of the book to learn more, I intially learned from a book by David Jacobs years ago. I have constantly read online and books since. This would be another great addition to my library.

Because i am a real noob in detailing and i want to learn it from the master.
 
Because the more I detail my car, the more I realize I have a lot to learn.
 
learning the proper technique is just as important as having the proper tools and mike phillips's book is just the tool need to achieve perfection!
 
I would love to win this book because I'm at the point of owning every single product that is needed to do a car (Porter Cable, 9227c Rotary, HydroPads, LLC Pads, Wool Pads, Menzerna and Meguiar Polishes...etc) yet I still have trouble identifying and figuring out how to attack cars without wasting alot of time doing test panels to only figure out that it doesn't work. I know there are many ways to attack a car, I only know my way though...knowledge is power

As well, I need to learn better techniques when it comes to wetsanding, when and how to do it.

I'm just starting out, and what i've learned thus far online from Mike, Autogeek, and other forum members has reshaped the way I approach detailing, from auto care to customer/client care as well. Adding this book to my arsenal will elevate my skill level even further.
 
Any opportunity I have to learn more from Mike is a gift.
Having a permanent reference would be very awesome indeed!
